Just another blog here about saving some cash! Old navy is having a sale today. Go by and check it out! All of their classic flip flops are on sale for a $1 each pair! Isn’t that amazing?! Limit 5 per person per transaction. I noticed at my local Old Navy that most people were buying 10 to even 40 pair. The cashiers were just ringing up five at a time. So good luck!!! Happy shopping!!! Womans, Mens, Boys, & Girls…all only one dollar!

I previously blogged about the current meal deal that Kroger is having. The one with the fajita meat. I went to check it out today and “load up” on the advertised super buy. They are charging $7.99 per package of fajita meat. It took me a bit to figure out that is really high. I went to Sam’s club today and bought double packs of basically the same meat for $7.48. Actually I paid $7.48 for chicken and $11.48 for beef. But still, $7.48 for over 3lbs. of meat instead of almost $16.
I haven’t had a chance to check the ads yet but I will skim them and my coupons and post some good deals for you hopefully tomorrow!

Kroger is running yet another meal deal this week! These are great especially is you have coupons for ANY of the items in the meal deal! Remember you can use coupons even on the free items. Here’s the deal:

Albertson’s is currently running a 10 for $10 sale on many of their most popular grocery items. Now remember, you do not have to buy 10 items to get them for $1 each. That is just a creative marketing scheme to make you feel the need to buy more. If you buy 1 item the cost is simply $1. Now, this sale includes:
any many more! And if you have a coupon for any of these items the savings is even bigger! Think about it…you have a .35 off coupon. Teqnically that triples making it a $1.05 coupon. Or you have a .50 off coupon…it doubles becoming $1 off. Both of those are scenarios on how to get an item completely for free!!!

Giveaways are a great way to score some free stuff for yourself or as a gift! Many blogs offer giveaways almost daily! It is easy to enter and you can earn extra entries by subscribing to their feed, blogging about their current giveaway, or any other way that the blogger might offer. Even if it the giveaway is for something you something you don’t want…it’s free! Save it for Christmas and make friends and family goodie baskets!!

I am trying to come up with even more ways to save you money. Besides your grocery bill there are many other things that we would all love to save money on!!! Gasoline is my priority today!
Kroger has a program where for every $100 you spend on groceries in a calendar month you save .10/gallon of gas on a fill up. Now if you spend $500+ a month at Kroger you aren’t going to get .50 off per gallon but you will get .10 off per gallon 5 times. Make sence?
And the best part of all is that they count the total before your coupons! For example, my last grocery bill’s subtotal was $219.43 but after coupons I actually paid 108.70. But I earned 219 fuel points!!! Every little bit helps right?
Feel free to post comments about any other way you know to save on gasoline. I know some other stores have some gas saving programs but I am only familiar with Kroger’s.

Wow! It has been a long time since I jumped on here to post a blog. Miss me? My account actually went inactive and I had to have it reacitvated…who knew? Sorry I have been away! I was on vacation so I haven’t been blogging. But, I am back by popular demand!
I hear Kroger is having a MEGA SALE. I do not have all the details on this yet but will try to post all the details tomorrow. Don’t forget to load all your electronic coupons from PGandEsaver, cellfire, and freeflys. Get your binders all cleaned out and ready to go!!!!

Attention Kroger Shoppers:
Before you begin shopping at Kroger you need to do a few things:
First you need a Kroger Savings Card, you can get this by going to Customer Service and requesting one. They are free to you and save you tons of money, you don’t get the sales prices without it.
Next you need to register your Kroger Card with the following sites. They allow you to load coupons directly to you Kroger Card, and can be used in combination with a paper mfg q and/or a store q. Which gives you even greater savings.

Aw ebates…what would I do without you? Online stores pay ebates commissions (think of it like a finder’s fee) and they pass on some of the money back to you. Each store pays slightly different commission amounts so the amount you save varies from store to store. The site is very user friendly and tells you the percentage of cash back you will receive next to each of the online stores in their directory. Ebates is great even for the occasional online shopper…if you are making the online purchase anyway…why not begin your journey at ebates???? You can still use your promo codes, coupons, etc. …the only difference? You get a certain percentage cash back and many times have an exclusive coupon code for the purchase you are about to make!
